For each session, I work to create the right environment for the person in front of the camera. Many people are not used to being photographed, and part of my work is to guide them, help them feel comfortable and create the confidence needed for a natural and expressive portrait.
Through art direction, lighting, composition and subtle direction, I look for the most honest and beautiful expression of each person. The result can be elegant, intimate, corporate, artistic, editorial or cinematic, depending on the purpose of the portrait.
A process designed to make people feel comfortable
Portrait photography starts before the shooting day.
During preproduction, I take time to understand the person, their goals and the type of image they want to create. We talk about references, mood, clothing, background, location, lighting and the different uses of the final portraits.
The session can take place in a studio, at a workplace, in an office, at home or in another location that supports the intention of the portrait. I work with professional lighting and photography equipment, using soft shadows and carefully controlled light that feels natural, flattering and honest.
After the session, the process includes image selection and postproduction. Retouching is kept natural and minimal. The goal is not to change the person, but to refine color, contrast, tone and balance while preserving their real expression and character.
When needed, I also work with trusted styling and makeup partners.

My portrait work is shaped by more than 15 years of experience in advertising, marketing and art direction.
That background helps me understand how a portrait can support a professional profile, a brand, a campaign or a public image. A portrait for a CEO is not the same as a portrait for an artist, a musician, a political figure, a founder or a corporate team. Each one needs a different visual intention.
